Whitetail Properties Customers and Potential Customers:  Just a note concerning the sale of my property listed with Donnie McClellan with Whitetail Properties. I had watched the programs on the hunting channel and when it came time for me to sell, I contacted WTP. I was connected with Donnie who did an absolutely awesome job working with me.  He came to my property right away which is some 5 hours from his home. Donnie is very professional, knew what he was doing, and listed my property in short order.  And it was not long until Donnie along with Steve Mott, also with WTP, had folks showing interest in my property. And they got my property sold. I know I about drove both of them crazy but they did a very superb professional job.  And besides that they are great guys who know the outdoors as well as real estate business. This guy was taken on the north end of my property in Pike County, Illinois.  He was coming out of the corn field to get a drink at the creek.  I have a stand right on the creek bank looking over a food plot at the end of the corn field.

Pretty as a picture, he slipped out of the corn, walked down the path I assumed he was using and stopped 18 yards from the stand on the creek rock.  Doesn’t get much easier than that, does it?

Just two short years ago I made a call to Rich Baugh to inquire about a farm in Clarke County, Iowa.  Lyla and I would like to say THANK YOU for the time he spent with us.  We really appreciated the night we had dinner with his family, researching potential properties, along with the two following days looking at farms.  Surely he will never forget driving us through a half dozen counties, looking at eight different farms, in just one day.

That first year I committed to hunting as much as possible.  67 days were spent hunting 3 specific bucks that were captured on trail camera.  I was able to harvest two of the bucks with my bow that both scored in the 170’s, and a third buck with my muzzle loader that scored in the mid-160’s.

Whitetail Properties and Gabe Adair were kind, courteous and very professional while listening to what our requirements were to purchasing a farm.  They were able to fulfill those requirements and help us purchase the farm we had been dreaming about for years.

In the Spring of 09’ my partner and I purchased a farm from Tyler Tisue of Whitetail Properties.  Tyler’s resourcefulness and knowledge about Allamakee county was a great influence in making our purchase decision on our 141 acres.  Once we purchased the farm Tyler took the time to work with us to develop a management plan to help grow, attract, and keep deer on our farm. 

Fall quickly came and I hunted hard for some of the giants we had trail camera pictures of and finally on Nov. 3rd I got my opportunity at a giant non typical and made it count!!  He ended up scoring 193” (without broken tine), and weighed well over 300 lbs!!!  Thanks Tyler for helping my dreams of harvesting a giant whitetail become a reality!!

One day, Tyler Tisue of Whitetail Properties stopped by and asked if I was still interested in selling some of my land.  After visiting with Tyler a few minutes I decided he was the kind of person I could do business with and maybe get something done. Tyler was very energetic and seemed like he was the type of guy that could sell my property.  I soon found Tyler to be very honest and prompt about the whole selling process.

I don’t think it was a week and Tyler had someone interested in the farm.  Soon after he had me an acceptable offer and I had finally got my farm sold!! I remember telling him at that point ”I wish I had listed it with you sooner” because than I could have had my farm sold quicker.  Tyler handled everything in the selling process very well, on time, and honestly.   He is always welcome at my home and I hope to have him as a friend for a long time.  Thanks Tyler

Owning a piece of land has always been a family desire and we want to thank Whitetail Properties for the excellent experience we had buying our first piece of land.  We were inspired and appreciated the vast knowledge of the outdoors that Dan Perez provided.  And in the pursuit to find a piece of land where we could hold, grow and harvest monster bucks, he helped guide us to just that place!  The property has brought year round enjoyment, from shed hunting and planting food plots, to hunting turkey and deer.  With our own slice of heaven in Illinois, we’re now able to bring our family, friends and the outdoors together, making our dreams a reality.

You know on your advertisement where it says “A Monster Shed found literally laying steps away from your Iowa property’s back door”?  Well last Tuesday evening I picked up a monster set of 170” sheds “literally steps away from my Iowa property’s back door”. It also says in that same advertisement properties where you will find 200” deer, well as you know I killed my 200” the next year after I purchased my farm through you.  It has to be very rewarding to be doing something you love and really helping hunters find the farm they really do dream about.  Thanks Dan, thanks for helping Jeff and I to find the farm of our dreams.
